Ospreys have been out to Sainsburys today, buying a variety of shopping. They have used measuring, estimating and money skills.
Many customers & staff commented on the children’s very good behaviour.

They have been examining sponges & jars of marbles.

Teaching new games
Eagles have been very busy creating new games and teaching them to others. This has linked into developing learning skills and PE.
How far can your car go?
Ospreys have been investigating how far toy cars travelled.
Owen, Declan and Patrick have found out that different things make cars go further.
“The yellow car had little wheels which were fastest because they were the smoothest.”
“This one [the truck] doesn’t go very far, because it has a bent wheel.”
“The fire engine has smooth wheels but is made of wood so it didn’t go as far.”
