Shapes around us.

The Peregrines went on a shape hunt in maths, looking for different 2D shapes around our school grounds.  Children used digital cameras to record what they had found, and worked in teams to try and find squares, rectangles, triangles, circles and semi-circles.

School council have decided to use the cleared space near the car park to turn into a rockery.  They are going to launch a design a rockery competion, for anyone to enter.  They are asking for a suitably sized rocks to be brought in by any of the children in school to help create the designs.

School council: Laurence Turner, Ellie Cooke, Genevive Bennett, Taibian White, Jasmine Belcher, Sam Keyse, Pearl Beard, Myles Marklove, Alexa Bennett, Tom Charles
