Ospreys have been busy this week. This has included going outside to look at a variety of different materials to see if they are natural or man made, and also having Fencing as part of their PE.
Most of the year 6’s will be learning how to ride their bikes on today’s roads.
For more information about bikeablity why not have a look at their website: http://www.dft.gov.uk/bikeability/
All the Key Stage two classes had a Street Surfing taster session last week – some found it a little easier than others!
In Eagles Leia and Amy have been teaching everyone how to create different designs with Hama Beads.
They were brilliant teachers, well organised and prepared – they had all the equipment, and had even produced a power point for everyone.
Peregrines have been using soft beads to help them with their number bonds.
Please keep working with them – especially with quick recall of number bonds to 10.
Ospreys have been busy preparing us more weather forecasts today.
They were able to discuss their forecasts and respond using appropriate language.
Alex even told everyone “You might needs some bricks for your shoes” as it was going to be so windy!
Ospreys and Sparrowhawks have been sharing their love of books in their paired reading session.
In Ospreys children have been weather presenters – hopefully they told us there was going to be lots more sun!
“The Iron Man came to the top of the cliff.
How far had he walked? Nobody knows. Where had he come from? Nobody knows. How was he made? Nobody knows.
Taller than a house, the Iron Man stood at the top of the cliff, on the very brink…”
The Eagles went up to the Common to help inspire them with their literacy work. can you imagine the Iron Man.
