Goshawks have been learning how to do maypole dancing at the Chippenham Festival.
They have also had chance to play the ukulele.
The Senses Garden club have been hard at work this term, weeding, scrubbing, cutting and composting! A new group of children will be starting next term, so the original group left their farewell mark on the garden today by beginning to paint the central bench a cheery blue.
Well done to all of the children for working so hard to improve part of their school environment, and a big thank you to Mr. & Mrs. Bennett who have stepped in to get our fountain up and running again.
The Peregrines class have been using the school iPads to help find out about African animals. Children chose their favourite animal before using an information app to find out more about it. They completed pages by researching where their animal lives, what it looks like and what it likes to eat among other facts. These fact-files will be made into a class book about African Animals. This was a super activity to get the children reading, writing, using ICT, geography skills and drawing for a purpose.
The children in Ospreys made a video of today’s PE lesson. They enjoyed showing off their sprinting skills, javelin technique and wonderful filming/commentating potential.
