Trip to B&Q

owlsatgastrells

This afternoon we went on a short trip to the local B&Q to have a look at their garden area. We had great fun spotting the items on our ‘I spy’ sheet and keeping an eye out for anything we might need to add to our own garden centre role play area.

We also bought a few different plants and some soil so that we can do some planting this term, we are excited to start watching them grow!

A ‘Wicked’ day in Bristol!

See more on the Eagles class blog.

Eagles Class Blog

Tag Rugby Match

Gastrells Y5/6 tag rugby team won convincingly 14-1 in their first friendly match of the year. With brilliant offloading throughout, Gastrells played with a quick tempo and confidence against Cashes Green school. Captain, Cal lead the way with numerous tries and assists with Rudi, Henry, and Myles all getting on the score sheet multiple times through a variety of interceptions and darting runs. James, Lexi and Paige tirelessly tagged the opposition from start to finish with young guns, Theo and Dylan showing lightening fast footwork to evade tackle after tackle.

Player of the match goes to Cal for leading by example in both attack and defence.

Well done to all involved!img_5323
